I finally started reading The Rules. (Had to check it out from the library and the almost-cute library guy who maybe has a crush on me despite knowing every self-help book I've ever borrowed was like, "Oh, yes. I saw that we had something for you." And it was kind of embarrassing....) But, I digress. The book. The Rules. It's kind of like reading a comedy show. I can't help reading bits out-loud to whoever is in hearing range. I particularly like the parts about going to "dances" and how it's better to stay home and sit on the couch (and maybe do some sit-ups) than it would be go out if you're not going to follow The Rules. And, don't feel too bad--this is tough advice to follow, for sure! I broke them alls yesterday by accepting last-minute bbq plans.... SO… I finally started reading The Rules.
